The Pillar of
“How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” — Psalm 133:1 (NIV)
Our Foundation
Before there was a name, there was a burden — a burden for the body of Christ in Lansing to stop being divided by church walls and come together in one room under one sound. Unity is not just the first pillar of T.L.C.W.E. It is the reason T.L.C.W.E. exists.
This movement was never meant to be one church’s program. It was built to be a gathering point — a place where singers from Restoration Church stand next to musicians from Kingdom Church, where intercessors from one congregation cover worshippers from another, and where none of that matters because the presence of God has already leveled every wall.
Unity in T.L.C.W.E. is not a feeling. It is a standard. Every member of this collective is required to be planted in a local church and actively serving there. We are not a replacement for the local body — we are what happens when the local body decides to move together.
ACTS 2:42–47
“All the believers were together and had everything in common… Every day they continued to meet together… praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
What Unity Looks Like Here
Every member of T.L.C.W.E. must be a member of a church and actively using their gift in that church’s ministry. This is not a rule for the sake of rules. It is a boundary that protects the integrity of what God built here. We are not a substitute for the local church. We are a collective expression of it.
Multi-Generational
From teenagers to elders, every generation carries a part of the sound God intended for Lansing.
Interchurch
No single church owns this movement. It belongs to the whole body — and the whole city.
